WHAT IS SILAMOR?

Silamor is a collective of musicians, artists and film makers dedicated to the creation of collaborative content.

Silamor is different in one very noticeable way - the contributing members never stay the same. Instead, Silamor has a core element, founder and composer Ben Romalis. For every project conceived and realised, a guest artist is involved. More than just contributing, this guest collaborator is highlighted as the feature of that project. The video content that accompanies each music track shows the artist in their element, doing what they do and with the flair they have become known for.

In this way, Silamor continues to evolve one composition at a time. Project by project, the form changes as the material morphs between genres.

This is the vision for Silamor - to make collaborative art for the sake of making it, and to explore a new relationships through artistic interactions. Enjoy.

These are the individuals who have given their time, talent and expertise to the Silamor experiment. They are the reason Silamor exists.

In each case, collaborations with these spirited individuals has resulted in a strengthening of an existing relationship or the founding of a new one. This process of meeting new people, working with them, sharing ideas and producing art together - this is the positive and social side of a sometimes lonely and isolating industry. I look forward to filling this space with more names and images, more projects, more memories.
